Description
  • Oliver Queen is the useless playboy son of a business mogul, until he's stranded on an island and forced to fight for his life. Returning to his home in Starling City years later, he is a changed man. He uses his fortune and new abilities to fight crime, adopting a costumed persona to become "The Arrow." The series follows Oliver Queen in his quest to protect the citizens of Starling, as well as the friends and enemies he picks up along the way.
  • Green Arrow is a superhero vigilante who uses a bow and arrows to fight crime. He is a member of the Justice League, his love interest is Black Canary, and his best friend is Green Lantern. In his civilian identity he is millionaire Oliver Queen, who lived a carefree playboy existence until a shipwreck stranded him on an island. The experience of learning to survive made him change his ways and dedicate his life to helping others. Green Arrow is known for having political views that are very anti-government and socially liberal, leading others to describe him as a "bleeding heart."
