  • Vie landed in front of Fumiko, looking at the boy through her spectacles. "I'm sure you want to go help your precious one..." She said, placing a hand on her handbag. "But, I'm going to have to keep you entertained." She smiled. "Perhaps you're the one to free me." "Free you?" Fumiko's eyes narrowed. "What the fuck are you talkin' about?" "Come at me with your soul cutting powers. I'll give you a challenge." Vie began to glow, white liquid creeping up her body. "Come." The liquid rose higher up her body, forming the tight bodysuit of her Fullbring. It looked strangely futuristic. "Cero!"

"Let's see what you can do." Vie said, waiting as Fumiko's nails began to glow and extend. Katsumi's eyes sharpened. His gripped his blade tightly, as an unearthly glow focused upon it. Reishi began to converge upon the tip of the blade. Instantly, Katsumi Hino unleashed a mighty swing, one which tore at the dimensions of Soul Society, releasing a singular wave of energy in the form of an arc from the tip of his blade, bending the laws of physics to multiply its existence. In an instant, the sword beam multiplied so that it appeared that he had unleashed, two absolutely simultaneous, over-lapping arcs that disregarded the concept of time and space, producing a wave attack that arrived from three different directions by momentarily transcending speed, dexterity, feints, and many other elements. There was nowhere to run. No way to defend. All Kachihi Amagase could do is get blown away by such a ferocious attack. His body flailed along the ground, before he planted his blade in the ground like an immovable pivot, halting his fall. Fumiko almost turned his head to check on Kachihi, but Vie's voice called him back. "Focus on our fight." She said quietly, looking at him intensely. "I'm not in this to kill you, you can go help the little boy when you've done what I need." Fumiko hissed like an angry cat, and extended his hand. He charged a large pink sphere in front of it, glaring at Vie. "Cero!" From his palm, he released a pink cero, which was headed by a running energy cat (complete with music) at Vie. "Now that's a disappointing start." Vie snapped her fingers, creating a portal in front of her which absorbed the Cero and deflected it right next to Fumiko's head, hitting him directly (again, complete with music). "Fight me with those claws." Without warning, Katsumi leapt foward, swinging his blade like a savage beast at Kachihi. The Mototsu-Seishin-Nightwalker hybrid managed to block of his attacks, though each one pushed him back further. Fumiko rubbed the side of his head, getting up. "What the hell was that?" He snapped, looking at Vie. "My power." She explained, her red eyes locked on him. "My Fullbring is called "Bag of Holding", and it allows me to tap into pocket dimensions for limited storage. That's it's basic power however. With the enhancements this form brings, I can weaponize the pocket dimensions to use in battle." "I see..." Fumiko started to think. Pocket dimensions were going to be tricky, but he could pull off a win if he tried. Once again, triple waves from a trifecta of dimensions shot forth, tearing at the dimensions which composed Soul Society. Kachihi could do naught but defend himself from Katsumi's fierce onslaught. He continued to put in a justifiably half-hearted attempt to try and dodge. However, it was useless to attempt to evade, since it was as if he was trapped from the moment that Katsumi began activating the attack. Light converged, gathering and roaring upon Karuraki. The time was ripe. Kachihi's eyes sharpened. "Shining...ONSLAUGHT!!" The sky cracked. It seemed as if time had stopped. In a quick act, Kachihi Amagase pulled back, quickly unleashing a spinning, cross shaped blast of grey feathers at Katsumi. Once again, this attack had zero effect upon the burning haired man, much to Kachihi's surprise. Fumiko decided to try another Cero, releasing the cat headed beam (complete with music) once again towards Vie. She waved her hand, opening a new portal which sucked the Cero in. She snapped her fingers, opening the portal right behind Yuuki's head, allowing the Cero to hit him directly in the back of the head. Yuuki quickly performed an 'offhand-backhand' maneuver, twirling Joyoku around the back of his head to absorb the Cero without any effort, but doing so at such a unexpected pace taxed him considerably. Yuuki Kaburagi chose not to step in and end this instantly; it was a battle that his 'children' were fighting, and to do so would be heinous. "Thank God she blocked..." Fumiko thought with relief, turning to glare at Vie. "That's cheap. Don't bring my mother into this battle." "Then fight like you mean it." Vie replied, her red eyes hardening. "Come at me no-!" Fumiko did as asked, cutting Vie off mid-sentence by thrusting his hand through her chest, forcing it out the other end and clutching Vie's beating heart in his hand, veins and arteries still attached to the body. Vie's eyes widened in shock as she expelled a massive amount of blood. Exerting more strength, Fumiko crushed the organ in his hands, removing his hand as Vie collapsed to the ground. "That'll teach you to leave my family out of one-on-one affairs." Fumiko said coldly, turning away from Vie to shake the blood from his hands. "You wanna smash and crush this guy in an instant, right?" A voice rang out. It sounded...strangely familiar. It was the spirit of Kachihi's blade. The young boy didn't know how to react to such an occurance. "W-Wha...?" The voice sounded almost arrogant. "C'mon, you know you want to. You need my power, Kachihi Nagareboshi." If the voice had possession of a body, it would probably be smirking right now. Kachihi hesitated. He didn't want his Karuraki to be associated with the rising phoenix. However, if he were to...Then maybe he could end Katsumi Hino in an instant. There was no other choice. He closed his eyes, howling, "Yatte yaruze, Taikyokuhōō!" An abundance of light shot forth, basking the area in a brilliant radiance. In an instant, Karuraki became similar to his father's Kōshinhōō in appearance, now surging with power. Kachihi swung his blade around before leaping at Katsumi. As Fumiko began to walk away, over to Kachihi to help, he noticed a light flare up behind him. He turned to see Vie's body glowing. "...the fuck?" Vie's body became pure energy retaining the human shape. A translucent barrier formed around her, much like an egg, as the energy attached to several places inside the sphere. "W...what the hell is this!?" Fumiko watched this all in awe. "That was a brilliant effort, I commend you." Vie's voice sounded throught the area. "But, things that would kill a mortal are not enough to free me, Fumiko Orikasa. I need your power." She began to regain physical form, clothed only in a white gown, wearing nothing underneath, and folded wings inside the sphere. "It's time to begin again..." She spread her wings, shattering the container she was in, sitting up looking dazed. The pure white Phoenix was rising up. Katsumi and Kachihi halted all sembelance of fighting to witness this spectacular sight, before turning to each other again. Once again, triple waves from a trifecta of dimensions shot forth, tearing at the dimensions which composed Soul Society. Only this time, Kachihi was prepared. Light gathered and converged upon his blade with astounding brilliance. In an instant, Kachihi released an explosive wave of light from his blade, disrupting Katsumi's attack, who responded "W-What the...!?" Without any further indiciation, Kachihi leapt foward, servering Katsumi Hino's right arm upon contact. Vie spread her wings, scattering the glass, sending shards at Fumiko, who winced as they cut him. Her gaze was so peaceful now, but in her eyes, unhappiness sparkled. Fumiko noticed this, and was taken aback. He could feel something was wrong, and almost began to feel for Vie as if he had to help her. He frowned. "She wants me to use my powers...maybe I should." His hand began to glow and was covered in an immense flow of flame-like energy, taking on the form of a cat's paw. Fumiko smiled. "That's right. Come." Katsumi released another triple sword beam at Kachihi. Once again, it was swatted away like a bothersome fly. The burning haired man clenched his teeth in frusteration, releasing wave after wave at his foe, who just began to walk towards him unflinchingly. He raised his blade into the air, which began to gather and converge light. "Tell me..." Fumiko's hand was glowing intensely now, with pure power. "What happens when I attack you?" "It will free me." Vie replied. "This battle will end in your victory. As will the battle over there. Your precious one is overpowering mine. After you attack, we will allow their battle to play out. And then we will be out of your hair forever." "Do you know what my claws do?" Fumiko asked, almost incredulous. "Yes. Now, attack." Fumiko hesitated no longer, and lunged towards Vie, swinging her claws. They flew through Vie, slicing into the hidden dimensions of the body where the soul hid. As if bindings snapped, Fumiko could feel the cut was not like normal, and Vie allowed a glimmer of triumph to flash over her eyes. The light was compressed to its utmost point, roaring gallantly. Raising his blade to the sky, Katsumi condensed the reishi from the surroundings further into the blade, preparing to unleash a heaven-splitting onslaught of light. Katsumi, pausing and gazing at the stump of his arm, gritted his teeth, assuming a tranquil state, completely devoid of any sembelance of humanity. He gripped the large blade in his hands, before calmly approaching Kachihi unflinchingly. In an instant, the two began attacking each other ferociously, pulling no punches. Fumiko jumped back now. One slash was always all it took to kill. Vie fell to the ground, and Fumiko sighed. "So, you couldn't survive..." He murmured, about to turn away again, but he was surprised as Vie sat upright, looking none the worse for wear. Her wings dropped off and the white gown she wore shredded, leaving her perfectly exposed, but she didn't mind and Fumiko didn't care. Her breasts meant about as much to him as her elbows. "Shall I assume it worked?" He asked, looking her over for signs of something different. Vie looked herself over as well, inadvertently giving Fumiko a very good view of her body, but, neither seemed to care. "Yes...yes, I say it has." She turned to Fumiko and smiled. "Thank you, Fumiko. Now, shall we watch the remainder of their fight?" "Yes, I want to see it end." Bang! A howling sound ripped through the air. In an instant, Kachihi Amagase had released a whirling, cross-shaped blast of white feathers at Katsumi, which tore at the atmosphere. The burning haired man remained unfazed, continuing to approach Kachihi. Black light amassed upon Inseisoyokaze, causing it to roar with utmost darkness. Kachihi's sword shone with light. These dual forces were about to clash. Swinging wildly, the two opponents clashed blades in a flash light. Without a word, Katsumi Hino had collaposed to the ground, motionless. And Vie was there in an instant, landing next to Katsumi, still stark naked. She placed a hand on his neck, checking for a pulse. "Excellent, he's alive." She looked up at Kachihi. "Are you done, or do you intend to finish him off?" Katsumi scrambled to his feet, coughing up a metric ton of blood, unusally. Ever the human bloodbank. The burning haired man quickly regained his composure, beginning to walk off. Vie followed quickly, turning to Fumiko, giving him her silent thanks. This strange turn of events left all three of the heroes rather confused. "Ok..." Fumiko said slowly. "What the hell just happened?" Kachihi scowled. It seemed as if this last battle wouldn't have mattered if Katsumi was in it or not. It was like what had happened didn't matter, other than introducing people. He scratched his head, closing his eyes in doubt. No doubt, this could be considered an 'acid trip sequence' if there ever was one. "...I have no freaking idea. Let's pretend this didn't happen, eh?" Vie was carrying Katsumi now. His getting up and walking was only bravado, Kachihi's attack had injured him to the extreme. It was getting cold, she really needed to get something to wear. "So...it looks like you didn't get to kill the boy after all." Vie chuckled. "I'm rather glad you didn't. The pink-haired one did me a favor. To deprive him of someone so precious to him would be rather sad, don't you think?" "Hm...I guess, you could be right. ...The parting of two lovers is often the most painful part of life." Katsumi responded, as the burning haired man flashed a slight smirk. "Of course I wouldn't kill someone like that; they're not who I'm after." He stared up at the sky in his pitiful state, battered and bloodied. "...Wow, after all that training to gain strength, I'm swatted aside by a child?" How ironic. "...It looks like, I've still got some ways to go." There was always a time and place for that; perhaps maybe after that bus trip he would be able to gain recognition from that person. Vie smiled down at him. "You'll get stronger, I'm sure. And until you're fed up with me, I'll stick around with you." Katsumi chuckled. "Now, to Mexico."
