The game is available on all platforms except for Nintendo Wii and DS, although discussion is on, debating whether the game should be available on those platforms. The game was originally intended exclusive for Xbox 360, but JaGex decided to release it on PS3, PSP, PS2 and PC later on. The game, unlike others, is exactly the same on all platforms in terms of levels, weapons, characters, etc. 3000 AD can be played on Xbox Live, with new maps, downloadable content and custom matchmaking available.
