| abstract | - Destination X (2008) was an ewrestling pay-per-view event produced by EWE and took place on 12th September 2008 at the Estadio Córdoba in Córdoba, Argentina. The event featured talent from EWE Thunder and Xplosion, Punk Wrestling Extreme as well as talent from independent ewrestling promotion Argentina Wrestling Association. As with other Destination X events, the ePPV features EWE face off against an international indepedent epromotion. For the 2008 event, EWE went up against Argentina's AWA. Destination X 2008 also featured a double main event, a Tag Team match between EWE Champion Kevin Gillmore and AWA superstar Adelmar against EWE's Tommy Cage and AWA World Champion Sebastian, and a Fatal-4-Way match for the PWE Championship between champion Brock Lesnar and PWE superstars Tony Buirnquist, Marcus XK8R and Chrys Tathers. As with last year's Destination X, the event featured 3 epromotions, with EWE, AWA and PWE all featuring superstars in the event.
