Throughout the meal, Val attempts to reminisce about good times with Pollard, and Brenda is furious when Pollard entertains her comments. When Kerry applauds Brenda for putting up with their behaviour, Brenda is livid that she has picked up on what is happening. Storming back inside, Brenda confronts Val - telling her to leave. However, in the end, it's Brenda who leaves upset. Elsewhere, Alex is awkward as Moira and Adam return from visiting the place where John's ashes were scattered, while Rhona wonders what would happen if Ashley knew about Laurel and Marlon - but Laurel is determined to take the power from Paddy and tell Ashley herself.
