  • Brendan Charleson (born South Manchester) appeared in Coronation Street as the Landlord of The Flying Horse who interviewed Ciaran McCarthy for a chef's job in January 2011. Educated at St. Ambrose College in Altrincham, Cheshire, he graduated from Leicester Polytechnic with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts and moved to Wales in 1985. He has been a stalwart player at Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Mold, appearing in Under Milk Wood, The Aristocrats, Salt, Root and Roe, Glengarry Glen Ross, Roots, The Taming of the Shrew, Dancing at Lughnasa, Arden of Faversham, The Suicide, Measure For Measure, Two Princes, Brassed Off, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Herbal Bed. Other theatre work includes The Accrington Pals, Corialanus, The Seafarer, Bus Stop, Gulliver, The Drowned World, Sex and Power at the Beau Rivage, Amazing Grace, Aladdin, Cymbeline, The Merchant of Venice and The Rise and Fall of Little Voice alongside Vicky Entwistle and Chris Gascoyne.
