(SI2) In 1921 PD, Commodore Thurgood researched Manticoran warfare used in the Battle of Monica, and in the following year he prepared exercises in the Meyers System. When the Royal Manticoran Navy's Tenth Fleet invaded it to neutralize the League's Madras Sector headquarters and restore the independence of the Kingdom of Meyers, Commodore Thurgood tried to flee with his ships, but was intercepted by a second Manticoran force commanded by Rear Admiral Michael Oversteegen.
