| abstract | - Based on the story of the Casino Manager, the Deer Woman is a dangerous entity that appeared on social festivities of Native American tribes. Having taken on the form of a beautiful woman, she seduces men on these festivities and lures them into the forest. When the men are completely aroused and ready to have intercourse with her, she turns on them and trampled them to death, with massive strength. After claiming a certain amount of people, she disappears. Before the events of the film, she reportly killed a group of lumberjackers in the same area, in 1905. Before disappearing for a 100 years, hinting that her attack pattern follow a hundred year cycle. Before the start of the film, taking place in 2005, she seduced her first victim of the new spree, a trucker who takes her with him to his truck. In his truck, she tramples him to death, before kicking out the door of his truck. On the crime scene, deers appeared in the morning, only to disappear in thin air once they were observed. While the murder is investigated by Detective Dwight Faraday, Officer Jacob Reed and pathologist Dana, she selects her next victim, a businessman. When he offers her a drink, she gladly takes him up on the offer but never drinks from the ordered Cosmopolitian. But the businessman, too focussed on her beauty doesn't even notice this. While he talks, she keeps smiling, only for the smile to fade, when he looks away. Eventually she is able to convince him to take her to his room in the hotel, where she removes her top, revealing her bare breasts and unbuckles his belt. His declaration that this must be his happy day, makes her smile even broader before she tramples him to death on the bed. She quickly moves onto her next target, a pawnshop owner who is both disturbed as intrigued by her appearance. She quickly managed to win his trust and seduce him however as shortly after his trampled corpse is found on the rooftop of the pawnshop, with his arm being ripped off completely and dropped on the sunshade of his pawnshop. Based on the tracks, she left behind on the roof, she ran away with giant leaps between the steps. But while, Dwight was investigating her, she did the same and possibly would have either seduced or ambushed him on his way home, if it wasn't for the mugger that tried to steal his wallet. After Dwight walks away after dealing with the man, she retreats into the shadow, ready to pick out her next target. She finds her perfect victim in an Indian Casino where the Casino Manager also revealed her history to Dwight and Jacob. This victim is Jacob... While the officer is gambling after his shift, he isn't lucky and loses more than wins. When she seduces him, she wins his trust by increasing his luck and with her help he wins several games. Intoxicated by alcohol and enticed by her beauty, he takes her home. While she starts to kiss him on his couch, he is called by Dwight. In an attempt to distract him, she removes her top once again. When Dwight asks if he has seen her feet, Jacob realize his mistake but is killed nevertheless. When his corpse is found by Dwight, she tries to attack him from behind but is shot in the shoulder by the cop. Playing dead, she is able to give him a false sense of security even making him believe that he killed an innocent woman but when he investigates her legs, her true identity is revealed and she kicks across the room. With her deer legs, she is able to leap from the terrace, which is on the first floor, to the ground unscaved. Dwight follows her with his car and tries to cut her off but when he steps out of the car and hold her at gunpoint, she kicks his car away, knocking him over, before fleeing. When he steps in his car again, her familiars, a herd of deer surrounds his vehicle and attack him. He makes quick work of them however and his gunshots alert a drinking Deer Woman. She runs on the street again but is found by Dwight who pins her between his car and a tree. Trying to get free, she uses her immense strength to lift the car but she is shot at by Dwight and eventually she disappears into thin air, ending her current killing spree.
