  • Doffet
rdfs:comment
  • Doffet is one of the eighteen Crow Cities within the Crow ruled by Lady Malta Hammon of the House of Hammon. It is the westernmost of the Crow Cities, and has a population of about 3,000 people. It lies directly beneath the Lumberwood, the only forest on the Crow, and unlike most of the Crow Cities, it is mostly built of wood rather than carved into the Crow. There's a ten-armed nameless goddess in the center of the Lumberwood, above an air hole above a well in the city. The nameless goddess has no face, no hair, and three dragon's tails.

Doffet is the only city of the Crow in open rebellion against King-That-Kills-Kings has not yet crushed the rebels for three reasons: Doffet’s size is that of ten Crowtonnes, and its location is difficult to navigate to, and unknown to most Crahishmen. The magicks that the King uses to control his army of Flotch Tribesmen, Crahish peasants, Sarplander Tribesmen, Telfish Tribesmen, Kaathi, and some say the dead, does not work in the domain of the city's nameless goddess. Whatever the case, not one of Ristt’s soldiers has gone within Doffet’s borders. Not even the Grand Kaath Stayeen.
