Doffet is the only city of the Crow in open rebellion against King-That-Kills-Kings has not yet crushed the rebels for three reasons: Doffet’s size is that of ten Crowtonnes, and its location is difficult to navigate to, and unknown to most Crahishmen. The magicks that the King uses to control his army of Flotch Tribesmen, Crahish peasants, Sarplander Tribesmen, Telfish Tribesmen, Kaathi, and some say the dead, does not work in the domain of the city's nameless goddess. Whatever the case, not one of Ristt’s soldiers has gone within Doffet’s borders. Not even the Grand Kaath Stayeen.
