Five years after the War of the Four Kingdoms, Gornt erupted into violence, with husband fighting wife, brother fighting brother and the Town Militia divided. This terrible orgy of madness began after a seven day visit to the town by the sham Circus of Dreams, a cover for the abominable Mandrakes, who were secretly taking over Gornt. Among their victims was the town's Burgomeister, Ennian.

- Gornt is a walled town which lies south of Royal Lendle in Gallantaria. Five years after the War of the Four Kingdoms, Gornt erupted into violence, with husband fighting wife, brother fighting brother and the Town Militia divided. This terrible orgy of madness began after a seven day visit to the town by the sham Circus of Dreams, a cover for the abominable Mandrakes, who were secretly taking over Gornt. Among their victims was the town's Burgomeister, Ennian. The violence in Gornt was brought to an end by a massive explosion which turned the town into an inferno. It is rumoured that this destruction was caused by Korin, a woman of the town, who rigged Gornt with explosive powder and blew the whole town to pieces in a suicidal bid to cleanse the town of the evil Mandrakes.

Etwa 5000 Jahre vor dem Galaktischen Bürgerkrieg waren die Gornt auf fast jeden Planeten angesiedelt. Sie waren Herrscher über ein eigenes kleines Imperium doch Machtgier und Korruption ließ dieses von innen heraus zerbrechen. In den Jahren danach herrschten fast überall Bürgerkrieg. Die Machtstruktur zerbrach und der ehemalige Imperator Urtus ging ins Exil. Gornt sind Klein und kräftig gebaut, ihre Waffen sind neben Blaster oder Gewehr messerscharfe Klingen die mit ihren Handgelenken verknüpft sind. Sie sind ideale Söldner die ihr Können für wenig Geld anbieten. Mit den Klingen können sie blitzschnell agieren. Trotzdem neigen die Gornt nicht gerade an einem Übermaß Intelligenz.
