  • Authour: Saerileth More Stories: Click Here Brief Information: Character(s): Saerileth Azhari, Nyle Leves, Geister Location: House of Morningstar, Hallway & Leves's Room Part of the Morningstar family paced themselves across the halls of the house. Mistress Leves, a Royal Apothecary Council Member, also known as "Mother Leves", was front in line of the medium sized group with Geister, the House's own Witchdoctor and Shadow Hunter, among the other members of the house hold. Many of which were new to Morgenstern and Mistress Leves was giving the normal grand tour of the do's and don't's to the house. Saerileth had kept herself to the back of the group, trailing along from boredom she and her brother shared. Been four long years, four really long years. Where could she possibly begin? After all, what a shock it was for Orphiel to suddenly return to Silvermoon on the elf's wedding day! He was more than likely aware of the troubles from the previous friend they had known, but she wouldn't doubt that Orphiel would not be expecting to walk his sister into another elf's care. Times sure do fly by, they both realized that. Between her and her brother, it was silent. He seemed to have held more interest into what the Forsaken, Leves, had to say and show. The where's, the who's, and all that he had missed. In those four long years of front lining the Horde's military, how much could one possibly miss? She thought back to that day of Orphiel's leave and call to duty. As her brother, he ment everything to her. Was the only one growing up that ever stopped to care and take care of her - aside from Mistress Leves, but that itself is a long story of how she came along. Already was she heart broken from a Knight's torment and evil whom had left her, but then her brother leaving at a call of duty for Thrall? Outlands? Honour. That's what is was for right? Regardless, he was back, and appeared unharmed to her eyes. She should be happy, extremely happy at that. But she wasn't. Something in the back of her mind told and bugged her that something wasn't right; she ignored it. Although it bothered her to why she thought that, the girl shook it off with an overwhelming statement to herself of "Everything is alright". Her pace slowed as the group made a pause in the stroll to Leves's room. The door was closed, Leves even made a double check to make sure it was locked. She tapped the handle after, then faced the group. "Now this, my children," spoke the Forsaken above the small chattering ones of the group. Her voice was soft and low, no one has honestly ever heard the Forsaken raise her voice to anyone or anything - ever. She continued on with a warm and, yet, stern gaze, "This happens to be my room. The lab, as one would say, would also be located here for the Apothecary studies and experiments of Geister's work and mine." She was sterner to mention that she'd be willing to allow future Apothecary students to the lab with her and Geister, but never alone could they venture into Leves's domain without her - it was off limits. Orphiel nodded to the Forsaken, taking one long glance at the room's door as if he could see right through it. No one took notice of his glimpse. When Leves had met his eye contact, the male elf nodded once again, taking his leave. "Well now, lets move on, you energetic kids," Leves continued, walking further on down into the hall, taking the group with. But something wasn't right. Saerileth remained standing at the door, as if she was mezmerized by it. It felt like that whatever was beyond the door into that room was calling for her, crying out for her. Her mind felt as though the room was reaching for her. She clentched her hands against her head quickly, closing her eyes as her head pounded in pain, echoing in it were screams it felt like. Her hand suddenly felt the need to open the door, and, just as the group turned the corner to the next hall, Saerileth risked the consequences, placing her hand to the knob. The screams worsened. As she moved her hand back in rememberance of it being locked, the screams wailed and ringed in the girl's head. However, there was something about the screams that seemed to have perked the elf's interest. She fumbled for a lock picking kit in her robe's pocket and unlocked the door, stepping inside. Saerileth shut the door quietly behind her, peering about the room as her back leaned against the door. The screams had stopped, interestingly enough. The room looked normal, much like the many times when she had ventured here from Leves's needs. Nothing looked out of place. Everything looked neat and organized, Leves's main part of the room to one side overlooking a balcony setting with a window, the rest of the room was made up with desks, tables, shelves, potions, and all that one would need in a labratory. An Apothecary student of any study would have a field trip here with how much Leves had. Shelves were filled with books on various magic and energies, be them on personal research or published works. They each were tall; a ladder (which was to the side) was the only way to reach the top shelves, and the shelves covered the walls almost completely. The tables were scattered across the room, the desk was placed near more to where Leves's more personal belongings were. Slowly, Saerileth made her way to the Apothecary Mistress's desk, careful not to puch anything that would drop and break, cause something else fall and break, or make an easy notice of her presense in the room. At first the journey to the desk was merely unintentional, but the closer she came to it, she became more drawn to what was placed on top of the desk over a few reports. Half drawn by curiosity, half by a strange feeling. She stared blankly at a set of three signets. They were designed well and were all too familiar to the elf. She remembered them. Each of the three signets were styled similar to the other, but slightly different: designed as a ring and to fit as one, all holding three small stones on a gold band. The stones were cut the same, each had one of three colours among the stones. One stone a bright red, another a blue, then the last a green. However, the stones varied their order and in the sense of aura and shine. The girl sat down quietly in the seat behind the desk, taking the signets with her to examine them in more detail. Sitting comfortably, she fiddled with the signets in her hand, recalling their memories and pain they had brought. She remembered the first day she was given them. Given to her as an appology gift after a fight with the Knight she once knew, he loeft the day after, which demoralized the girl for weeks. She could recall the exact words of "I promise to never hurt you again" he spoke to her with that odd smile. Saerileth shook her head to get rid of that memory. Nyle Leves had taken those signets shortly following a recovery of a medical release from Arathi Basin. Just days after the Knights leave. What happened that day in the Basin exactly is something the elf has been bothered with for some time. She remembers little every so often, but she knew for a fact the signets were to be blamed. "Done by the finest my ass, Isaire," the elf quietly sneered to herself, gripping the signets tight. She winced in pain. Odd. Ignoring that, she let her mind wander quickly to why Leves had taken the signets in the first place, but that was easliy distracted from a hand shifting through some keys outside the door. Saerileth's ears twitched as she picked up the presense and she frowned. Placing the items into her robe pocket again, she felt an odd jolt enter her body, although ignored it again. Before the door had opened, Saerileth vanished into the shadows and stealthed, crouching low for an easier balance control, watching Nyle Leves and Geister enter the room. In they came, finished with their daily tour of the House, but out went the elf child, sneeking back to the outside.
