- Ryan Jackson and his cousins, Kody and Jim, had spent all their time together for years. Growing up in Brooklyn wasn't easy for them, it wasn't easy for anyone. However, something did happen to them when they hit high school, that was the time when they developed their powers. Since then they had pulled off petty crimes up and down Brooklyn, sometimes even travelling over into Manhattan. Unfortunatly, their reputation did seem to get ahead of them and a few times the cops got the drop on them. But somehow Ryan always managed to get away just in time and eventually break out his cousins.

- Ryan Jackson and his cousins, Kody and Jim, had spent all their time together for years. Growing up in Brooklyn wasn't easy for them, it wasn't easy for anyone. However, something did happen to them when they hit high school, that was the time when they developed their powers. Since then they had pulled off petty crimes up and down Brooklyn, sometimes even travelling over into Manhattan. Unfortunatly, their reputation did seem to get ahead of them and a few times the cops got the drop on them. But somehow Ryan always managed to get away just in time and eventually break out his cousins. It wasn't until 2 years later, when he was 24 and his cousins were 25 when the cops had finally had enough and staged an all out raid on the cousins, Jim and Kody didn't make it out in time and where ruthlessly gunned down, even though they did take down many of the cops by themselves. Ryan was so overcome with guilt that his heart filled with pure rage and at their funeral, a few hecklers from a local gang made comments about the brothers and Ryan lost it. He massacered the gang members mercilessly. It was at that moment that he threw away the name Ryan Jackson and fully became Quake. For a few weeks, he worked with Brimstone in his gang and pulled many heists, however, many times Brimstone did not fully do his part in the fights. After a failed attack on Times Square, Nuclear Winter and Quake became closer to Shockwave and now have left Brimstone's group to start their own vigilante group.
