As there are limitation in the extent to which a single company can solely administer large-scale projects, we are particularly recognized for our superiority in assembling the strengths of Korea’s top companies in a collective consortium to develop overseas markets and implement the business. Port Construction: The New Port Project will be considered as an additional special project and shall be treated as an independent project separate from the Congo project. CMKC Group will be the prime contractor of this project, as well as have the exclusive right to appoint investors and/or business partners for the new port project and possess full supervision of the development. All related areas for this project will be designated as a Tax-Free Zone. CMKC Group Ltd. has exclusive management for 40 years and exclusive right to manage if any other port of enhancement of existing port Pointe Noire is planned. This project will be carried out under the principle of separating investment, construction, and management. The new port will be located 40km away from Pointe Noire, which is designated as the Free Trade area, also meaning it is a tax free zone. The goal of building a new port at Madingo Kayes is to overcome the limited capacity for freight passing through port Pointe Noire. The project is also expected to boost distribution and transportation lines between the Republic of Congo and its neighboring countries.
