| abstract | - The Plains of Celestis are a stunningly beautiful land mass, distant from the village of Ver Eger, where the City of Celestis resides. The plains are accessible by transportation rings as well as by ship or foot. However, as the plains are surrounded by a large range of Mountains, the trek on foot is an unlikely feat to accomplish.(SG1: "Origin", "The Ark of Truth") In the consciousness of Vala Mal Doran and Dr. Daniel Jackson were taken to the plains of Celestis, via transportation rings, by a Prior of the Ori. (SG1: "Origin") Later, while in search of the Ark of Truth, Vala, Tomin, and Daniel were taken to the plains via Ori fighters. Teal'c later followed on foot, guided by Morgan Le Fay.
