  • Czenti (species)
rdfs:comment
  • Czenti are a mammalian species native to Czenti in the Nymean Ascendancy. They have four ears, two normal ones, two for ultra high frequencies. The normal ears are smaller than human's ears and are positioned above the smaller high frequency ones. This means that they are sensitive to many electronic noises and when journeying on ships or working around heavy machinery or computers, they often wear special ear plugs in their high frequency ears or they suffer from headaches and can become disoriented over time.

abstract
  • Czenti are a mammalian species native to Czenti in the Nymean Ascendancy. They have four ears, two normal ones, two for ultra high frequencies. The normal ears are smaller than human's ears and are positioned above the smaller high frequency ones. This means that they are sensitive to many electronic noises and when journeying on ships or working around heavy machinery or computers, they often wear special ear plugs in their high frequency ears or they suffer from headaches and can become disoriented over time. They have two arms and two legs, but their torso is small in proportion to humans. They usually are slightly shorter than humans, but are just as strong. Their skin is brown and feels somewhat like leather. Their body temperature is slightly lower than human normals so they get hot very easily. Their homeworld is a temperate one that rarely gets extremely hot so they never have a problem there. Their vocal cords are capable of reaching high frequencies which are heard through their second pair of ears. Much communication between the Czenti is done in the higher frequencies that most other species cannot hear. When they are among outsiders, they use a lower pitch so they can be heard. In all, there are 1.1 billion Czenti living on four planets: Czenti, Emphas, N'wit'si, and Saepon. A small number live elsewhere, but the majority live on their planets and rarely mingle due to the difficulties in hearing and temperature they have when around other species.
