| abstract | - The metal-pede is an enemy in Jak II. It is a large arthropod metal head inhabiting Underport, where it makes its first and only appearance during the mission "Escort Sig in Underport". Though it appears invincible, Sig somehow managed to escape the beast after being seemingly devoured near the end of the mission. However, it remains unclear if he simply escaped from or destroyed the creature. This metal head shares a name with the Jak 3 metal-pede, but aside from both being metal heads it is unknown how related the two are, if at all. Other than both resembling centipedes, they have noticeably different physiology, behavior, and provenance.
