Biography
  • Jay Godley from Charlotte, NC, is a former NASCAR driver. He competed in two Craftsman Truck Series events in his career, both in 2003. In his debut for Team MRD at South Boston, Godley drove a smart race at the tough bullring. Godley started 21st in the event and finished 22nd, running four laps off the pace, but finishing the race nonetheless. Godley improved the next time around at Martinsville. He started 27th, but managed to improve to 20th place, completing all but two laps. Godley was replaced in 2004 by Jay Sauter and Godley has not been in NASCAR since.
