| abstract | - Mallow is a fictional character in Nintendo's Mario franchise. He is the first party member for Mario in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. He thinks he is a tadpole because the sage Frogfucious raised him since he was little, although as the story unfolds it turns out he is the Prince of Nimbus Land, a land far above the Mushroom Kingdom. Mallow joins Mario when the thief Croco steals Mallow's grandfather's coin. Mallow asks Mario for help in order to get it back. They follow Croco for a while and finally capture him and get the coin back, then Mallow decides to join Mario and they go through tough journeys fighting Belome, the Czar Dragon and even Smithy. Mallow has yet to appear in any game since.
