In an instant, Gai's left hand transformed into a razor-sharp, jet-black claw as he thrust his hand as fast as a bullet at Chira's gut. A left hand with all fingers extended. A demonic hand; only mere skin contact would cause the blood in the entire target's body to regurgitate, and as a result, obliterate both blood vessels and internal organs. If he were to consider that Kurenai was close by, he wouldn't use such a flashy technique. Still, this was enough to kill a person. Gai violently thrust his hand, aiming for Chira's face from below. In response, Chira merely swung his face and easily avoided it. There was none of the "I'm dead if it touches me even for a moment" fear and nervousness. It was a face that appeared to tell Gai "no problems, it definitely won't hit me." Chira leapt in for a cross-counter at Gai Nagareboshi, who had just tried to hit him in vain. Immediately after he unleashed several precise boxing jabs, he drew back his fist. And then it mercilessly crashed into Gai's face. "Gh…!" A *BASH!* sound reverberated throughout the air. In a similar manner to a hammer, that was not by any means a flashy strike, much to Gai's surprise. Still, the Mototsu-Seishin hybrid's field of vision shook as he took the blow upon his nose, though it did not knock him out. However, faster chained attacks were launched at Gai, who froze due to the pain. Face, chest, shoulder, gut, and then again face, face, face. Chira hopped away from Gai's swing, following up with a distance-closing attack. "That's it, Phoenix. Dare you stand in front of me!?" Along with Chira's scream, a *SHING!* impact sliced through the Mototsu-Seishin hybrid's skin like rice paper. However, Gai Nagareboshi attempted to stand back; though Chira once again leapt in front of him, continuing with yet another unleashed fist upon his face. "…!!" Beaten, with blood dripping from the tip of his mouth, Gai's eyes burned with anger. Chira withdrew back the fist that he threw just before it struck Gai. The mind of Chira Tendou was really something. "What's the matter, Phoenix?! Are you so resolute in your beliefs!? His time was being taken away. The damage from his foe slowly accumulated in his body. Every time Gai's body movement wavered, Chira changed to a more daring action, dealing more and damage with every strike. Time more and more mercilessly passed by. Without the Envoy of Destruction's protection, standing on his own was difficult. And for that, a sudden chance wouldn't come. Gai's impatience slowly extinguished the flames of time, and time was leading further to more impatience. "…Dammit! I'm losing time…!" Gai's train of thought was interrupted. "Slacking off, eh Phoenix? Already thinking on what to do after you've won!?" *WHAM!* a thunderous roar echoed throughout the air. Gai's train of thought was sent completely off the rails, as his consciousness definitely shook uncontrollably. Chira Tendou's movements were considerably greater; as he determined that the damage-saddled Gai Nagareboshi was already unable to deal with hid extreme power. The blows became longer in interval; in return, Chira's sword strikes and fists were slowly increasing in force. "Perhaps you think of yourself in awfully good shape, eh?" Receiving a face-crushing blow, Gai's two legs staggered. If he were not careful; they would have been twisted around. "You think your own life will be written off of all debts by going alone against my master and making efforts to save a random girl!?" Even when Gai was paying attention to his enemy, Chira's fists again came flying in. Even with his vitals guarded by both his arms, the impact always slipped through the cracks of his defense. The damage was extreme, and thickened clots of blood gushed out from the cracks of his lip that caught it. "Don't give me that nonsense! Trash like you has been in the mud his entire life. Grovel and creep up all you want; you're still stuck in mud. Now, go and sink in there. Everything's dirtied beyond recognition when people like you walk around!" And along with an especially massive *BAM!!* impact, Gai Nagareboshi's body finally collapsed onto the floor. Both of his knees buckled, and his forehead appeared as if it was about to hit the pavement. "Sh…shit. This bastard…" Even so, Gai placed his hand onto the asphalt, preventing himself from completely going down. His body's stamina was taken away due to Chira's attacks. "…I know that. I know that I've been stuck in the mud in my whole life. You've reminded me of that, and so I already have no regrets being there. What I'm seeking for isn't there…" Gritting his teeth and forcibly putting up with the pain, Gai applied force onto the ground as he unsteadily stood to his feet. "Enough with this shit! Enough with all of you ganging up and aiming for innocent people. Only you and I are going to hell! Don't you dare drag her to hell, you bastard!"
