| abstract | - The Kuulan hologram was created by the chief engineer Ezral two years after his supply ship crash-landed on a planet in 2129. He was a re-creation of Kuulan, the captain of the ship who died in the crash, and assumed his namesake's duties. Ezral created him after first creating a re-creation of his wife Maya. He was created by Ezral so his daughter Liana would not be alone. When an away team from Enterprise NX-01 landed on the planet in 2151, Kuulan appeared to the newcomers and asked Trip Tucker to help repair the ship's computer. He later lead a band of holographic Kantare in attacking Tucker and T'Pol, in order to force them to repair the ship. His existence was wiped out when Liana, a survivor of the crash, shut down the data chips from a console, causing each Kantare in turn to disappear. (ENT: "Oasis") In the final draft script of "Oasis", Kuulan was described as being in his "mid-fifties." The character was played by actor Rudolph Willrich.
