- The crystal halberd can be made from a crystal weapon seed in two ways:

* With 75 Smithing and having completed The Eyes of Glouphrie quest, using 750 harmonic dust to make one at the crystal singing bowl in the Ithell Clan district of Prifddinas (giving 750 Smithing experience).
- Players also must have completed the Roving Elves quest to wield. It can be created by taking an uncharged crystal weapon seed to Eluned in the Ithell Clan district and paying a fee (which seemingly varies similarly to Ilfeen's recharge price scale) of 200,000 to 1,000,000 coins. Alternately, if you have 75 Smithing, you can make the halberd yourself with Crystal Singing, at the crystal bowl in the Ithell Clan district of Prifddinas. This requires a crystal weapon seed and 750 harmonic dust, and gives 750 Smithing experience.

| abstract | - The Crystal halberd is currently the strongest type of halberd available. It can only be achieved as a drop from Crystal dragons, although this is very rare. The halberd also has a good strength bonus and is very useful in soul wars and other multicombat areas. Like all other Crystalline items, this halberd has 10 Charges. For every 100 hits, it will degrade by 1 so it would become Crystal halberd 9/10, 8/10 and so on. Once it has been completely been used up, it will turn into a Crystal seed. You can recharge this by talking to Ilfeen in Isafdar or you can talk to the Weapons Merchant in Cardiff on the island of Carydwyn.

The amount of coins needed to create (and repair) is based on the number of times a crystal weapon/armour seed has been made into an item for coins - the cost is shared over all crystal weapons and shields. The first time costs , and each subsequent creation costs 200,000 less until the fifth time (and every time thereafter), when it costs . The crystal halberd will revert to seed after 50,000 charges of combat, but uses two charges per hit except while within Prifddinas, where it uses one charge per hit. A partially degraded halberd can be recharged for a fraction of your current creation cost - if it has 90% charges remaining, and the lowest creation price has been achieved, it would cost 20,000 coins to repair.
