His credits include The Adventures of Jim Bowie, Rescue 8, The Iron Horse, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E., Gunsmoke, Starsky and Hutch, The Bionic Woman (38 episodes as executive story consultant, writer or producer) and Fantasy Island (starring Ricardo Montalban), and the 1972 movie The Magnificent Seven Ride!. Rowe wrote an unfilmed story for the 1974 Planet of the Apes TV series, titled "Freedom Road".
