When Brigand took the stockholders of Daniels-McGregor Pharmaceuticals hostage, he let them pay their own ransoms via Ransom Escrow Boxes connected to iPayoff©, HostagePal© and PayRansom©. However, he had modified the Escrow Boxes to record the hostages' banking information, with the intent of exposing their illegal slush funds.
