  • Freddie Thornhill and Stuart Bixby are the main protagonists of the ITV sitcom Vicious. They are an elderly gay couple who have lived together in their Covent Garden flat for 48 years. When they first met, Freddie was a budding actor whilst Stuart worked in a bar but now their careers are pretty much over and their lives consists of entertaining their frequent guests and making sure that their aged dog Balthazar is still alive whilst hurling insults at each other. Stuart usually seen talking on the phone to his mother Mildred who was clueless to his and Freddie's relationship until the last episode of Series 1. They are mostly seen with their friends Violet, Penelope (who is very absent-minded), Mason (who is also Freddie's brother) and their neighbour Ash (whom Violet likes).
