| abstract | - This dōjutsu usually is manifested as very distinctive eyes, many calling it the Blood Curse Eye, due its bright red color and pitch black pupil. Asuna, being the only wielder of this dōjutsu, earned it the moniker; the Blood Eyes, due to her ruthless massacring. It is said the person who has these devil eyes is cursed and will only seek death. How the Kōjugan was created has yet to be revealed. Even Asuna does not know. It is hypothesized that Orochimaru used the Sharingan as a base but there also rumors he used the Gurengan as the base. Neither have been confirmed. The Kōjugan, despite its somewhat recent appearance, is quite notorious in the shinobi world already. Many have tried to mimic the Sannin's creation, but all failed. The Shinobi Union fears the creation of such Kekkei Genkai which is why they have placed such an enormous bounty on the Beautiful Demon's head. Many organizations have sought to capture Asuna in order to acquire her feared power, but none have prevailed. Because of this many have called the dojutsu the Fourth Great Power.
