  • Flag of Illuccia
rdfs:comment
  • The flag of Illuccia consists of two vertical bands, blue on the hoist side and golden on the fly side. In the blue side, there is a golden bird with a crown. The flag is at an unusual proportion of 5:7 versus the normal proportions of 2:3 and 1:2. The blue stands for the water of the Adriatic sea and the sky, and the gold stands for the sun shining down on the country. The bird stands for freedom, and the crown stands for the wealth of the country. It was first used during the decline of colonialism, but the crown, bird, and colors were once used in other flags. In the Socialist Italo-Adriatic Federation's flag, the Blue color is dark red instead, and there is a star instead of a crown. (WIP)
