| abstract | - Vanarm Lightningrunner was a human male from Nubia and a member of the Rebel Alliance, and, later, the New Republic. Serving as a scout for the Rebellion, Vanarm distinguished himself in the line of duty. With the defeat of the Galactic Empire and the formation of the New Republic, Vanarm would go on to serve in the New Republic's Intelligence Service as an agent. As an Intelligence operative, Vanarm was often placed outside of New Republic territory, primarily against threats such as the Imperial Remnant and the Yevetha. He served during the Yevetha Crisis, the numerous conflicts against Imperial warlords and Moffs, the Thrawn Campaign and, eventually, the Yuuzhan Vong War. Surviving those conflicts, Vanarm continued to serve the New Republic, mainly dealing with internal threats. With the advent of the Second Galactic Civil War, Lightningrunner allied with the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances and Darth Caedus. After the war, he continued to serve, this time under Chief of State Natasi Daala. Vanarm was a noted proponent against Jedi authority and power.
