  • Ambulance Man (Episode 1893)
rdfs:comment
  • This Ambulance Man was called out to attend the scene in March 1979, when a lorry crashed into the front of the Rovers Return Inn, shedding its load of wood. Alf Roberts was badly injured and the ambulance man and his colleague put him on a stretcher while his frantic wife Renee looked on. He told her that although it looked like a head injury, there was no blood coming out of his ears and that was a good sign. They had to take Alf out of the back of the pub as the wood was blocking the doorway and on the way out he assured Mike Baldwin that someone would be along soon to see to his injured leg.
