The key effects were that Kebabvan quickly rescued Dog the Chicken from inside his stomach and Max Ear Wax's ear monsters fell in love with each other. The two parties then parted peacefully. Much later, a form of love spray was created by the Love Bug, an associate of The Family. Whilst walking through a market in the Metropolis Zone, Amy Rose was squirted by a rancid perfume. This had the unexpected effect of having the district's male population falling obsessively in love with the hero. After a long chase, Amy was able to remove the spray by jumping into the sewers, coating herself with an even stronger smell.
