abstract
  • Konjiki no Gash Bell!! Character Song Series: Boys Side (金色のガッシュベル!! キャラクターソングシリーズ ボーイズサイド) is the fifth CD and first collection of the Character Song Series of the Konjiki no Gash Bell!!/Zatch Bell! anime to be released. This collection was released by Interchannel and King Records on July 22, 2004 in Japan only. As the title suggests, this album contains songs sung by male characters of the Konjiki no Gash Bell!! anime, but this album also contains the TV sized version of the second Konjiki no Gash Bell!! opening "Kimi ni Kono Koe ga Tadoki Masu you ni" (君にこの声が 届きますように, lit. "Let the Voice Reach You") by Tanimoto Takayoshi, who doesn't voice a character in the anime series. The only female character singing in this album is Tio (Rie Kugimiya) as a backup singer for Victoreem's "Very Melon ~Watashi no Kokoro wo Tsukanda Yoi Melon~" (ベリーメロン〜私の心をつかんだ良いメロン〜, lit. "Very Melon ~A Good Melon That Captured my Heart~"). The seventh song track "Dandyism ~Dartagnan no Theme~" (ダンディズム~ダルタニアンのテーマ~, lit. "Dandyism ~Dartagnan's Theme") is exclusive to this album and has not been released on any other media. Likewise, Kanchome's (Masami Kikuchi) solo cover of "Muteki Folgore" (無敵フォルゴレ, lit. "Invincible Folgore") and Kiyomaro Takamine's (Takahiro Sakurai) cover of the first opening theme "Kasabuta" (カサブタ, lit. "Scab") are exclusive to this album.
