Though he was intended to be utilized as a weapon for the United Nations against the possibility of oncoming invasions on Earth from extraterrestrial lifeforms and the like, David has completely defected from any loyalty he may have had to any government following his nekrosteel infection. David's existence is kept in complete and utter secrecy as per the preference of the the US government so as to not alert the populace of earth that such a dangerous and destructive weapon is roaming about in complete impunity and freedom right underneath the civilian populations noses, lest his mere existence cause a massive uproar of panic and terror, thus causing modern society to lapse into a complete state of emergency, perhaps triggering a global disaster which cannot be reversed.
