  • The Dark Ones
rdfs:comment
  • The Dark Ones are the dark entities that rule this wiki. Ever since you are here, they hunt you. Eventually, when you stay here too long, they will get you. What they will do, is to terrible to talk about here.
  • Little is known of the appearance of the Dark Ones except for the possible illustrations located in the Necronomicon. The illustrations depict beings of vast size and power, though it is likely that the true image of the Dark Ones is unfathomable to humans, and actually seeing one would drive them mad.
  • The Dark Ones is a trio of evil Human Necromancers who had threatened Allansia centuries before even the War of the Wizards. They had been defeated two powerful Elven sorcerers, and their ashes scattered in the Moonstone Hills, with warding spells preventing the resurrection of the Dark Ones by the normal means of spilling blood. A shaman evidently found a different way to resurrect the Dark Ones, which involved moving the villagers off the land. The shaman therefore hired an army of Orcs and Goblins to blighted the lands and kill the livestock of that specific part of the Moonstone Hills.
  • The Dark Ones are a species of humanoid creatures, they are descendants of humans, mutated after the nuclear fallout of World War III. They posses many abilities and traits that are unique compared to other creatures of the Metro 2033 universe, making them stand out as possibly the most dangerous and powerful. Though rarely seen, the Dark Ones are seen as the main antagonists throughout both iterations of Metro 2033, in which they are posed as a threat, aggressively descending from the surface to Artyom's home station of Exhibition.

  • Little is known of the appearance of the Dark Ones except for the possible illustrations located in the Necronomicon. The illustrations depict beings of vast size and power, though it is likely that the true image of the Dark Ones is unfathomable to humans, and actually seeing one would drive them mad. When introduced in episode 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead, Dark Ones are depicted as “neither demon nor fully human” whom appeared to be humanoid entities dressed in dark hooded cloaks that completely conceal their appearance. This is to conceal the fact that they indeed can pass for completely human, and the fact that one of them, under alias of Ruby Knowby, can also shapeshift into a human form as alternate method.

Though rarely seen, the Dark Ones are seen as the main antagonists throughout both iterations of Metro 2033, in which they are posed as a threat, aggressively descending from the surface to Artyom's home station of Exhibition. They were first revealed to mankind not long after a young Artyom opened the great hermetic door of the Botanical Gardens to glimpse the surface. Eventually, the Dark Ones found the entrance and explored the Metro, making Exhibition the first station and human contact they came across. They were not bloodthirsty beasts as most believed, but sentient beings that wanted peace with humanity. Unfortunately Metro citizens didn't understand their desire to live in symbiotic society, thus they attacked the Dark Ones before any attempt to create peace was ever made.

A shaman evidently found a different way to resurrect the Dark Ones, which involved moving the villagers off the land. The shaman therefore hired an army of Orcs and Goblins to blighted the lands and kill the livestock of that specific part of the Moonstone Hills. However, Arakor Nicodemus disguised himself as a Man-Orc and infiltrated the shaman’s camp to find out that the shaman was planning a ritual to resurrect The Dark Ones. Nicodemus accompanied the Shaman’s forces to the ritual site and, whilst the shaman was in the throes of the ritual, wailing in the tongue known as the Demon’s Voice, Nicodemus struck him down with a jagged-bladed sword, displaying combat prowess beyond his magical abilities. Nicodemus fled amongst a flurry of fireballs aimed at the Orc and Goblin horde, casting a purification spell over the ground to ensure that the Dark Ones couldn't be raised again.
