Prior to studying sculpture at the Limerick School of Art and Design, he had learned to knit at home. He spent the next 12 years producing handmade knitted and crochet pieces for boutiques and private clients in Ireland, before moving to London in 2005. Tim’s knitwear collections are always 100% handmade or hand-loomed on domestic machinery. All of his designs are ethically produced in Europe -mostly in the UK and Ireland- by a team of craftswomen who can produce the complex garments in cashmeres, silks and viscose, and create his signature lace evening and fringed pieces.
