Clay remixed Insane Clown Posse's "24" on The Wraith: Remix Albums and has worked with Twiztid, also contributing to a track on the Independent's Day album in 2007. Clay was briefly signed to Psychopathic Records in early 2007, only to leave and become the first artist to sign with their new sub-label Hatchet House where he dropped his debut mixtape Let 'Em Bleed: The Mixxtape, Vol. 1 in 2008, with a second volume following later that year. Clay cites Insane Clown Posse, DJ Q-bert, and Mix Master Mike among his influences.
