The Vulcan rapidly loses accuracy as it fires, in exchange for an increasing Fire Rate, capping at 800 RPM. The G30 Vulcan is more suited to longer range combat than it's brother on the Harasser, the G20 Vulcan-H. The damage of the G30 Vulcan falls off much slower, and it also starts with a lower cone of fire. Unlike the Harasser, the Prowler is less able to get into and survive a close range engagement, meaning this range and accuracy increase allows it to be usable on the tank.
