In 2003, she appeared on a UK quiz show, The Weakest Link, in a Eurovision special episode, featuring past UK participants and hosts, such as Sonia Evans, Jessica Garlick, Katrina Leskanich and the participant for the following year, James Fox. French replaced Gina G at the last minute, when she went into labour. French still continues to support the Eurovision Song Contest to this day, stating in an interview with Molly Smitten-Downes that "Once you're in, you can't get back out!" and "Welcome to the club, love." and joking that she will represent the UK in 2015.
