  • The Trees is a song from the 1978 album Hemispheres. The song is also featured on many of Rush's compilation albums and has been a perennial fan favorite of the band's live shows. On the live album Exit...Stage Left, the short instrumental 'Broon's Bane' is performed as a short classical guitar introduction of the song. Neil Peart has remarked that the inspiration for penning the song simply came from a humorous comic strip he read which depicted trees arguing like people

  • The Trees is a song by Rush that appears in Rock Band 2. It is one of the few songs in Rock Band 2 that has a specified drum solo in it. Which on the expert difficulty, can be very challenging. The song starts out with a somewhat mellow acoustic part, followed by an electric guitar power cord with the drums kicking in. It has many rapid double hits building up to the first verse when the actual song starts to take shape. An overdrive path for this song could be used, but some people find that they like to save it and not have to do some of the wild and hard drum fills.
  • Eventually after receiving his second notice, and rejecting it once again, the trees stormed over to the Aqua Teens's house, kidnapped Shake, and forced him into court. Frylock was his lawyer, even though he was aware that he was guilty. Once Frylock tears out a page from a book of Tree Laws that reveals proof to the court that supports Master Shake's "innocence", the trees get shocked and the Judge orders the trees to seize him since paper is made from trees.

Once Frylock tears out a page from a book of Tree Laws that reveals proof to the court that supports Master Shake's "innocence", the trees get shocked and the Judge orders the trees to seize him since paper is made from trees. Frylock then fires his laser eyes directly at the trees, and they burst into flames. The Aqua Teens (along with Carl) manage to escape. The Judge is voiced by Dave Willis, while the Stenographer is voiced by Matt Maiellaro and the others are voiced by Jay Edwards, Jim Fortier, Ned Hastings, Nick Ingkatanuwat and Vishal Roney, while their Court-Appointed Shrub Lawyer assigned to the Aqua Teens.
