Ofukany played four years at the junior level in the major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Kelowna Rockets, Regina Pats, and Red Deer Rebels where he recorded 66 goals and 83 assists for 149 points in 265 total contests. He turned pro for the 2008–09 season to play with the Wichita Thunder in the Central Hockey League. Midway through the 2009–10 season Ofukany was traded to the Odessa Jackalopes.
