| Synopsis | - A scientist, David Long, creates a chemical in an attempt to grow trees and plants that produce unlimited fruit, in order to combat world hunger. His former assistant, Carl Dunn, hypnotizes Long's wife, Cora, in order to find out what the scientist is working on. Once he learns what the chemical is for, he decides to kill the scientist and his wife in order to steal the man's scientific notes, seeking to create an army of killer plants to do his bidding. In the end, the tree kills all three of them, and the chemical spills over into another tree, leaving the future uncertain as to how this will affect the local plant life.
