Part III is also confirmed by supplementary materials to occur on a Friday the 13th. The events of the 2009 "reboot" are included here with a disclaimer, as the film was purposefully allowed to dovetail with established series mythology rather than re-inventing it, and several items from the series' past (such as Ralph's bicycle and Mark's wheelchair) are seen in Jason's network of tunnels.
