Also housed are additional power units to keep this guns going, without drawing upon the main reactor. The ship has heavier armour than its cousin and in response, has a more powerful reactor and engines, so it doesn't lose as much speed on the Hermes. The ship is mostly used to preform armed reconnaissance and scouting, when facing much more well armed ships, and greater threats. It also is commonly used for escort in known danger hot spots, and as a maritime security ship in known danger hotspots, in places where the Hermes simply couldn't survive. It is also commonly used as the tethered defence of large orbital stations, or large non-combat ships.
