Special Operations operative Daniel Radke, disguised as Tovath, liberated Aster from the outpost, escaping on a Romulan shuttle, even outrunning two Romulan warbirds in orbit. (Radke's undercover partner, Dr. Alan Melonsky, was killed by three Tal Shiar agents days after they landed on the planet.)
