  • Mana Burn is a benefitial status or additional effect, as well as the basic skill causing the status or having the additional effect. On actors with this status effect, all normal attacks gain the additional effect. On attacks, the additional effect directs a portion (or all of) of the damage to the target's MP pool, taking away MP instead of HP. If Mana Burn is an attack skill itself, it will solely damage the enemy's MP pool. Mana Burn is also a damage-over-time status effect that reduced the victim's MP by a certain amount each turn while in effect.

Notes
  • Strong DOT that hits both bars with equal strength. Useful against mages in an advanced point of the battle, but mainly against warriors and archers, as they cannot recover mana in combat. Given the high mana reduction and the short cooldown, the spell is very effective when attacking forts to easily disable the archers in the walls. It is also deadly against knights, as they cannot reduce by any means the high damage of the spell, and the lack of mana prevents later defensive skills. Very good when combined with Energy Borrow. Additionally, warlocks may also use Sadistic Servants to accelerate the mana loss. Documented Changes: *Version 1.10.9 : Increased cooldown to 50 s.
