  • The Alma Aiglons (Eagles) are a junior team in Alma, Quebec. The team was also known as the St. Joseph d'Alma Aigles. They started out as an intermediate team in the Lac St. Jean Intermediate League in the late 1940's. The Aiglons won that league in 1946-47 and 1948-49. They won the provincial playoffs in 1946-47. In 1948-49 the Lac St. Jean League was the only intermediate league in Quebec. The Aiglons went on to lose the 1948-49 Quebec Senior Playoffs to the Ottawa Senators. More recently the team plays lower level junior hockey.

In 1948-49 the Lac St. Jean League was the only intermediate league in Quebec. The Aiglons went on to lose the 1948-49 Quebec Senior Playoffs to the Ottawa Senators. Intermediate hockey was dying out in the 1950's. Attention was then shifted to junior hockey. The Aiglons played in the Saguenay Junior League from 1955-56 until the late 1960's. They won the league title in 1959-60. More recently the team plays lower level junior hockey.
