After the defeat of Xim at the Third Battle of Vontor, the Hutt Empire began a genocidal campaign against the Tionese in the Kiirium Reaches in 24,500 BBY. Fearing imminent destruction, the hierophants fled Nuswatta to found a new stronghold where they would await the climactic battle between Humans and Hutts that they believed would usher in the end of time and the Perfection of Xo. The Tionese never heard from them again.
