| abstract | - The Luthori General Election September 3982 was held in September 3982 to elect the members of the fifth House of Commons of the United Commonwealth of Luthori. The Luthori Imperial Viceroy Election September 3982 ran concurrently alongside the general election. This was the second general election in 3982. The election was called a few months after the previous for a multitude of reasons. For a start, the January elections were so close, that a workable parliament was increasingly difficult. Secondly multiple parties dissolved including the Luthorian People's Union, New Choice and the Counter-Revolutionary Party. Most of the socialist parties merged into one party, the Social Democratic League. Choice in particular lives on as a pressure group with many SDL and a very few Progress Party members being a part of.
