- By the time the rest of us figured it out, Jack Ryder had known what Lex Luthor was up to for years. He tried to warn us, but nobody believed. A single man could orchestrate an entire global financial collapse. May be it won't be so bad for our children. If they never know what Metropolis used to be like, may be they won't know what they are missing.
- I want to thank the people of Metropolis for showing such unwavering support for your new protector, the LexCorp security aparatus. There are of course a few terrorists whose actions threaten our peace. Do not fear. They will be punished - along with their leader Green Arrow.
- Personal Log Entry 12.1. I have been working with LexCorp for about a year and I came to speak of the atrocities I have seen. I have been thinking of joining the resistance, but after seeing what they did to Green Arrow while he was in lockup..., I've had second thoughts.
- Day 3/25. We've lost some good people at the hands of Lex Luthor and his shocktroopers. Peaceful demeonstrations against the death squads didn't change a thing. So we're turned to more active resistance effort under Green Arrow. We have public oppinion on our side, but that scum Luthor has the media and that... that monster on his.
