| abstract | - Hannah Olivia Macmillan (née Abbott) (b. 12 April 1980) was a half-blood witch and Hufflepuff student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she attended from 1991 to 1998. She is the eldest daughter of Jake and Daisy Abbott (née Owens) and elder sister of Johnny Abbott. During her childhood, Hannah became best friends with Susan Bones, whose parents were killed in the British Wizarding Civil War, and the two became magically bonded sisters shortly before they began Hogwarts. During school, Hannah, along with Susan, became close friends with Justin Finch-Fletchley, Ernie Macmillan and Ron Weasley, all fellow Hufflepuffs in her year. Although initially not taking much interest in Quidditch, Hannah joined the Sunshine Salamanders multi-house Quidditch team at the behest of Susan and became a Beater alongside her bond sister. In her fifth year, Hannah became a Prefect alongside Ernie, whom she began dating. In her sixth year, Hannah also joined the Duelling Association club, which was led by Ravenclaw student Daniel Potter. After graduating from Hogwarts, Hannah and Ernie married with Susan as her maid of honour and Justin as the best man. The couple initially chose not to have children, but were graced with a surprise pregnancy in 2005, which led to the birth of Connor Owen Macmillan. Hannah became the landlady at the Leaky Cauldron and her family lives above the pub.
