| abstract | - In 2409, a group of Allied officers stranded in Storage Facility Z98 accessed a database entry stating that Obelisk 1 was ready to deploy and awaiting navigational input. They subsequently boarded the ship through an Iconian gateway, manning the stations of the uncrewed vessel. A Romulan researcher was able to open another gateway to the Jouret system, allowing the Allies to return to the Beta Quadrant. The Elachi detected the Jouret gateway, whose activation led to its reemergence from subspace, and dispatched a fleet to take it over. Along with the respective flagships of the Federation, the Klingon Empire and the Romulan Republic, Obelisk 1 succeeded in repelling the assault. (STO mission: "Sphere of Influence")
