  • Sorensen was still in Officer Training when Washington D.C. was nuked at the end of the war; like many of his class, he was quickly given a commission and rushed to Virginia to try and help restore order. As units of the Continental Army launched at attack against loyalist units north of Baltimore, Sorensen was given command of a platoon of M118 Fastback AAVS and sent to support the 23rd Mechanized Battalion. His first combat action was along the Maryland border, fighting US forces of the Continental Army. Since then, Sorensen's platoon has fought countless engagements against raids from both the Continental Army and the CSA. His fastbacks are equipped with state-of-the-art phase - Array Radar that gives his unit an edge against low flying attack craft.
